ABOUT

I'm Chris, but you may know me as "My Bassist Chris". The name has two meanings: a tribute to my favorite band My Chemical Romance, and to my bandmates over the years referring to me as "their bassist". I've been playing bass for 20 years and started my YouTube channel in 2011.

The motivation to start my channel was to provide high-quality and accurate bass tabs free of charge. That was something I always wanted when I started learning and the UltimateGuitar tabs in the early days of the internet did not come close. Over the years, the channel has grown beyond covers into gear reviews. Feel free to enjoy all my tabs on my site and any brands that would like to work with me, feel free to use the contact button below.
